Well, for as long as i could hold a pencil, i've been doing art! I drew and painted ALL the time during school and when i was at home. I started art classes when I was about 5-ish. I don't remember prefectly. It was a lot of fun and i learned a lot of stuff. I mostly loved to draw horses and other animals when I was younger. When I was 8 we moved from Surrey to Sidney, I kept taking art classes for maybe 2 or 3 more years. I learned a lot of new stuff and it inspired me to try drawing portraits and even try landscapes. So my first portrait i ever drew was Avril Lavigne. I was in grade 7, and i was very proud of it! Then I went on to draw more celebs like Orlando Bloom and Kelly Clarkson. I was always the art teacher's favourite student in Middle school, because I was one of the only kids who took it seriously! haha. As i got better at drawing portraits, i was inspired to try drawing my own pictures, from my head instead of from a picture. At first NOTHING worked out how i wanted it. i got so frustrated, but i kept trying until i could finally do it decently. I was in grade 8 by then, so it had taken me a year to do this! In grade 9, I joined art class, and it was a whole lot betetr than in middle school. The kdis were more serious, and betetr artists, so i had competition, and people who could give me tips and suggestions. Art class taught me a lot, my teacher was great too. Around grade 9 is when i got into water colours and photography. I started experimenting with paints and taking pictures with my crappy point and shoot digital camera. When I got to grade 10, i was able to paint alright, im still not very good at it, but i learned new things about it and i'm currently trying to teach myself some new things. I got more and more into photography, so summer 2008, i baught myself a Nikon D60! It's a really nice camera and I use it everyday! I love taking pictures and it's become one of my biggest passions. I still draw, but not nearly as much. I'm trying to get back into it because it is something i would love to do for a living. So that's about everything!
